How it works at home
A BCBA measures your child's skills with the VB-MAPP and ABLLS-R assessments and writes the plan. A trained technician works with your child at home, and the BCBA supervises about one hour in every five.
Parent coaching is 10 to 20 percent of therapy hours, so you learn what we are working on and how to keep it going.
Paying for it
Health First Colorado covers behavioral therapy when it is medically necessary. A child does not need an autism diagnosis for that coverage.
We also work with Aetna and other major insurance plans.
